Hi, writer friends! If you’ve ever thought to yourself, “I need to improve my writing skills and accomplish more of my writing goals,” you may be interested in affirmations. Affirmations are short statements you repeat (in your head or out loud) to promote positive thinking.

I’ve made affirmations part of my daily routine by keeping them in the Notes app on my phone. I like to say them first thing in the morning and repeat them throughout the day.

Practicing these affirmations could help you become a confident writer, an accomplished writer, a writer who is full of new and brilliant ideas. Effective immediately!

  • My writing is getting better every day.
  • I’m a best-selling writer.
  • Creative energy surges through me and leads me to new and brilliant ideas.
  • I write sentences that are smooth, varied, and carefully constructed.
  • I’m a great writer and I’m taking steps to become even better.
  • I write stories that are easy to read and hard to put down.
  • I write stories that are funny and fun to read.
  • Writing brings me joy!
  • I love to write stories!
  • I love my writing!
